Black raku tea bowl, low cylinder type (hantsutsugata) slightly double waisted and with irregular lip. Formed by coiling (himozukuri) and cutting. The black glaze, containing stone dust (ishigusuri), is splashed with red. The footring and parts of the base are glaze free, tong marks on the walls of the bowl. The potter`s cipher is incised beside the footring. Suitable for summer and winter temae, "thin" tea (usucha) and "thick" tea (koicha). Purchase upon request.
