Black raku teabowl, low cylinder type(hantzutzugata) with slightly irregular lip. Formed by coiling(himozukuri) and cutting. The glaze with its richness of stonedust evolves the surface being considered to be characteristic for wabi utensils. Parts of the base and the foot ring are unglazed. The potter`s signature beside the foot ring and a tong mark on the walls of the teabowl. Suitable for summer and winter temae, for thin and thick tea(usucha/koicha). Purchase upon request.
