Black raku tea bowl, low cylinder type(hantsutsugata) with regular lip. Formed by coiling(himozukuri). The black glaze, containing stone dust, is splashed with red and produces a slightly rough surface. A layer of ash glaze, applied over the black one , has produced whitish spots and cascading patterns. The tea bowl is completely glazed. There are three stilt marks on the bottom of the foot ring and tong marks on the walls of the bowl. Suitable for thick tea(koicha) preferably. Private Property of the CUTBA e.V.
