Tea bowl with wide mouth, white glaze and craquelure. As the bowl has often been used for matcha tea, the cracks have deepened in color. There are reddish and dark spots of iron oxide on the body, which are hardly visible through the almost opaque glaze. The foot ring (kodai), the inside of the foot (kodainai) and some parts of the base are unglazed. Suitable for summer and winter temae, preferably for "thick" tea (koicha). This tea bowl is my own and not for sale.
